If you're struggling with life's challenges and looking for more than just a break, 'fully immersive therapy' could be exactly what you need.
For 8 years Den by the Stream has been an idyllic sanctuary for couples, friends and individuals. It offers an opportunity to escape from the stress and distraction of work and home life. Whilst we continue to welcome guests who just need to getaway and unwind in these restorative surroundings, for those seeking a more profound experience, we are now able to incorporate a weeks break at the Den and the additional element of help and support from a professional counsellor.
Located on the premises just a short walk from the Den, the Garden Room is a private, detached therapy space where you can address whatever is troubling you.
With our own BACP registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist, you can benefit from daily 90-minute therapy sessions over 5 days. Along with the healing power of nature, this holistic experience enables you to explore and gain insight into your life in a confidential, supportive and encouraging environment while setting aside the time you need to rest, reflect and process what's going on for you.
Weekly fully immersive therapy begins in April 2025.

The raised deck is easily accessible from behind the Den and built out from the edge of the woodland to overlook the stream. Down in the glade there are hand made benches to while away a few hours with a good book to the sound of burbling water and bird song.
