Standing all on its own, the Den is a destination in itself, with many of our guests choosing to stay on site. It's a comfy and cosy rural retreat which feels spacious and light. Built just for two, with no other people (or their dogs), you'll find yourself unwinding. It's a digital detox being off grid - with solar energy for lighting.

There's an attached compost loo and shower so no need for dashing out into the dark in the early hours, but if you like to stay up late, why not wonder at the starry dark skies from our rotating stargazer bed.

There's plenty to occupy even the most restless dog, with fallen logs, hedgerows, wildlife smells and long meadow grass. The adjacent 3 acre meadow is also fenced and for your exclusiv

Explore the historic town of Cardigan on the stunning Teifi estuary with so many dog friendly places to eat or shop, or take a boat trip to see the resident dolphins and seals in Cardigan Bay.

Our waterside cabin is set amongst ancient trees with lush vegetation all around, providing a cool place to retreat from the hot summer sunshine and the perfect place to watch the birds. The stream (named the Nant Rhyd y Fuwch or Stream of the Cow) produced the power for the old mill just upstream. With a raised deck on which to relax or dine, you can make the most of this beautiful, tranquil setting as it's easily accessible from the rear of the Den. Built out from the edge of the woodland there's a lovely view of the stream as it meanders through wild flora. Down in the solitude of the glade, there are hand crafted benches to while away time with a good book.
